And as we head into November, we begin... Bad National Stereotypes Month! Much
like the MM6 Masters, this month's concepts will all be bad stereotypes about
different countries! To lead us off...
Name: Cola Koala
Faction: Repliforce
Function: Liquid Refreshment
Gender: Male
Quote: "G'day, mate. Care for a cold one?"
Profile: Part of a group of reploids created as mascots for a beverage company,
Cola Koala is a hideous sterotype. Having never been to Australia, he embodies
every single terrible generalization and cliche about the people who really do
live there. After the company went bankrupt, Cola made his way to Repliforce,
where he's become half soldier, half dispenser of chilled beverages, and all
glib spokesman. Though a horrific stereotype, Cola is a remarkably good
speaker and highly photogenic. He's also a total camera hog, which is not
quite so good. But while he might be easy to underestimate with his atrocious
campy personality, he makes up for it with an earnest urge to bring happiness
to people.

Weapon Type: CHEMICAL WATER
Notes: High VEL (intended to save airfare between public appearances by simply
running from locale to locale). Most of the attack list is either soft drink
based, or related to some horrible Australian stereotype. Also has the 'Child
Star' syndrome in the way he acts. Intended to be played like a slightly
twisted cross between Crocodile Dundee and the Kool-Aid Man.

Arcadia's point man in expansions to more wintery climes. In his actions, he
embodies everything his ancestors stereotypically did - he fights, drinks, and
carouses hard, plunders and destroys, and wears a huge helmet with horns on
it.

Notes: Total Viking stereotype. Acts like a complete male chauvinist pig, and
ignores anything that could even be partially described as 'good manners'.

attempt. Since then, the world has seen the young man slough off the trauma,
eventually allying with Thomas Light through a merger, making the groundwork
of Light Labs, the company. While Dr. Light still controls Light Labs itself,
Bryce is the day to day leader of Light Labs, and carries out Dr. Light's
occasionally eccentric business plans. He has a reputation as a playboy, which

criminal element, even damaging legitimate Yakuza fronts, like Loath and
Mikage International. No one is really sure how he gets his information, but
the crime rate in New York has plummeted since he began working in it.
Seemingly possessing limitless resources, protection from the authorities, and
a loose affiliation with the Maverick Hunters, The Grim Man has found that his
greatest enemy is his own success. New generations of criminals and terrorists
have appeared up in New York, and one man in power armor might not be enough
to protect his city.
Yes, the reference is obvious. I still think its kinda cool.

the army to battle on the wailing skirl of the pipes. With time, technology
has changed, however, and now Highlander's pipes are more than a weapon of
psychological terror - they now not only play the music, but also are capable
of firing high-energy lasers from the secondary pipes. Jovial and rowdy,
Highlander himself is a fighter's fighter - loving a good throw down just for
the sake of fun, though he's not one to go out and start throwing punches
without reason. Perpetually in good humor, he likes living life to the
fullest, acting each day out as if it were his last.

Profile: A loyal Quebecois to the core, Bombardier is a high-flier and a giver
of gifts on the battlefield in the from of ice-based bombs to support
ground-based fights. While not as fast as most fliers, he makes up for it with
considerable hitting power and toughness. Generous to a fault, he is
perpetually poor as he continually gives away little presents here and there.
However, he has a strange distain for English-speakers of all sorts, and tends
to be a little demanding that others, too, be as giving.

Notes: Another horrible accent for Repliforce to work around. A non-high VEL

Profile: A simple Tennesse man, Saul joined the Marines at a young age, but
action during his first deployment left him with a limp on his left leg.
Knowing no trade, he got one of the few jobs he could do, signing on to the
(then) newly opened Light Labs as a janitor. He holds the honor of having been
awarded Employee of the Year more then any other Light Labs worker. Having
served faithfully through the years, good and bad, Saul found himself in early
retirement with the destruction of Light Labs Tokyo. Until a chance meeting
with Doctor Light got him a job as an official Maverick Hunter doing much the
same as he did at the Labs. Sure, he doesn't need a job, or the money...but the
boredom of retirement didn't take after a life of only knowing work, work,
work!

going to get, but unfortunately for you, Ciel is doomed to leave Neo Arcadia
at some point, and be hunted down by them...Her only hopes? Zero, Milan, and
Cerveau. Yeah, perhaps for your own safety you better pass on her.
Byte - You'll never have the chance. By the time your app goes in, Tron Bonne
will send an app in, proving you wasted your time. Besides, you're based off
Darth Vader, whose claim to fame is throwing an old man down a ventilation
shaft. Do you want to be known as a guy who kills old men?
Sera - Sera is not a robot, Sera is not considered a 'Mother Unit' even though
her Power Armor is, she doesn't have the capability to eradicate all human
life in the world, and she isn't jealous of Megaman.

along with the basic handler of deciphering the perplexities of the world
itself, and attempting to unwravel all of the conspiracies that some would
find distressing.

Profile: Tzadik, a Shadow Hunter built by an outside company that was hired by

than struggling with a body that did not even move, Tzadik had therefore asked
that he be given an ability to kill himself off at anytime he wanted. This was

sentry for high-security areas, Tzadik became more...turning into an Android
that could detect electrical, energy and heat fields, notice alterations in
the noises around him and even notice air current changes. Tzadik became the
anti-ninja, the anti-infiltrator, a robot who had only one purpose...to track
down people who wanted to play hide and seek.

Function: Being an anime Cliche
A disciple of the Shaolin temple, the man now known as Genjyo Sanzo has
instilled with a strong belief in Buddhism, being taught to respect all forms
of life. His philosophy changed however, with the atrocities commited by the
Mavericks in the name of independence. He made an oath to punish the machines
for their disregard of life, and journeyed to Neo-Arcadia to bring himself to
a level in which he could do so. After receiving major enhancements and
advanced weaponry, he took the name "Genjyo Sanzo" after a great hero from
legend in his home country. Armed with an extendedable staff containing a
multitude of tricks, he uses his newly acquired power to defend organic life
wherever he can.

Alright, I've taken some liberties here, seeing Genjyo's actually the priest
for Monkey King, so I'd suggest making him a blend of Son Goku, Genjyo Sanzo,
Cho Hakkai, and Sha Gojyo just for extra-fun and less cliche-ness.(think the
Genjyo from RoD)

Name: Guardian Tortoise
Species:Reploid
A heavily armored reploid designed to protect equipment and facilities,
Guardian Tortoise is quite heavily armored, though quite cowardly. (S)He is
rather paranoid, always afraid of that his(her) armor will give way. (S)He is
known to opt for mechanic work or guard duty whenever it will get him(her) out
of seeing actual combat. Despite these flaws, his(her) body is nigh
indestructible with its armor and barrier generators, and when particulary
desperate, can convert into a hovercraft mode to overcome his(her) natural
sluggishness.
Primary: Guardian Shield
Type: Barrier
Okay, this one can go to almost any faction really, well except NA but that's
obvious. It can also be played as either gender, seeing the main focus is its
meant to serve as oxymoron, and a nice change of pace. An incredibly resist
reploid who's afraid to get hit. Enjoy!

Profile: Liu Bao Shen was born with agameonglobulinemia, or XLA, a severe
immune deficiency. This disease forced the man to stay indoors as a child,
away from germs and other children that would incidentily kill him. But such a
life allowed a person to focus on their studies, and study Shen did. But as
Shen went to college, was the same time that China decided to rebel against
the UN, 2160. Shen was drafted into the Revolution, to steal information from
the UN, and five years later, the UN officially declared war. Due to Lius
weakened state, he was trained to be a pilot for the Chinese Army, flying
fighter pilots and prototype Ride Armors in hypoallergenic chambers. After
being wounded in a war he didnt believe in, and nearly dying from the
infection caused by that wound, Liu fled for seclusion, to a small temple in
the mountains of China. It was here, that he met Master Ran Ling. Using
homeopathy, Shen was kept healthy by Master Ran, and was taught the ancient
Kung-Fu of the White Lotus. Shen never left Master Rans side after fifty
years, until Master Ran finally died of old age. Returning to the outside
world, Shen learned of all he had missed, most notably, the world being
overrun by AI, and humanity almost a secondary class. Infuriated, Shen also
heard of Elpizo and Neo-Arcadia, and left to join. An ornery old man, his
old-school hacking and martial arts make him a well-balanced member of the
military, and his pure blind rage for that which he doesnt understand keeps
him fighting for days long since past. Mercy is not something well known to
Liu. Just ask Goliath, the first android Shen ever met. The android is long
since dead, his body used by Shen to pilot into less favorable territory.

After graduating from the top of his class in the College of Clowns and
Mimes, the android known only as 'Mime' began to show an uninterrupted streak

negotiator, however. Rather, it was his strangely magnificent ability at being
able to completely get in the way and confuse/aggrivate a burglar or terrorist
or whomever to such an extent that he'd go crazy and, quite literally, forget
about anything else--especially authorities watching on. Eventually accepting
a role within the Maverick Hunters, his primary function to -be- a
'Diversionary Tactic' when it came to such hostile situations where the scene
needed to be diffused. Easy to get along with and quite happy to have a
'conversation' with anyone, it would come as a suprise to learn that Mime has
very few friends--something he soon hopes to remedy. But until then, the
little teardrop tattoo will just have to stay in place.

Profile: Once merely a civilian Mexican citizen, with the rise of Neo-Arcadia,
Sombrero was thrown out of his own country. Angry that robot-hating humans had
taken over his homeland, he joined the Maverick cause willingly to strike back
at them. Sombrero continues to live his life as best he can, as if he were
still at home. But far from Mexico, it's difficult to find good tequila, so he
sticks to more traditional ways of having fun - banditry and chaos-causing.

Weapon Type: BLADE
Notes: General resistance - codedly. RP-wise, he's resistant to EVERYTHING,
which is instead represented by a ridiculously high END. Primary weapon is a
massive bladed hat - like Oddjob, except much more Mexican. Secondary weapons
include, of course, maracas.

INTERPOL Trio Wed Nov 17 Pharaoh Man

This is a trio of OCs for INTERPOL. Possibly a gestalt, if you could ever
convince the admin.
Name: Jump
Race: Reploid
Function: SpecOps Enforcer
Profile: The brute force of the trio, Jump is a trained Enforcer. Think Solid
Snake or the main character from Splinter Cell. Highly trained, elite fighter
meant to operate under the radar. Rather quiet, to the point in most things.
Avoids needless activity.
Primary: Stoccato Storm (SONIC BLUNT)- A literal hail of bullets which are
enhanced with sonic energy. The effect is something of a light, jazzy tune as
the attack is unleashed.
Name: Jive
Race: Reploid
Function: Infiltrator
Profile: Sneaky stealth type. Not necessarily tough, but very fast, very agile,
melee oriented as opposed to ranged (as Enforcer is tough and ideally ranged
with some melee). Takes much joy in being one step ahead of others, always
keeping the upper hand in everything he does (and gets frustrated when he
can't).
Primary:Swing Blade (SONIC BLADE): A bladed vibro-weapon, which is connected to
a chain. The swing is a reference to 'swing' music, of course.
Name: Wail
Race:Reploid
Function: Operator
Profile:Wail is a sort of hacker/information officer, similar to the guy who
sits in hiding at a computer, instructing his 'team' on mission details via
radio as they go about things (Such as in The Matrix, or Mission Impossible).
Very talkative, always spouting off details on one thing or another, while
making wisecracks.
Primary: And All That Jazz (SONIC EXPLOSIVE): A barrage of sonic grenades,
sonic based explosives being Wail's primary means of attack, though he is
relatively noncombatant.
The trio could work as humanoids, or a series of birds (same species, just
slight 'color' variation). They are all 'brothers', made to work as a unit,
ideally.

Well, since I've already gotten one 'borg to call my own creation, I
figure I should make it known that Orion Corth is, indeed, a cyberneticist.
The primary focus of his cybernetics is on making energy efficient designs, as
well as bio-mechanical designs (the mechanizations based off of real animal
parts). At the current time, I have seven designs that Orion has laying
around his drawing boards ICly... So, if you're interested in hearing about
them, I'll give you a set of teasers... The basic design basis and the
function I think is appropriate to the design.
1) Thunderbird: Aerial Recon

3) Turtle: Assassin or Lab Assistant

With the U.S. as an independent nation from the UN now, and Texas as well for
the matter, I'd kinda like to see some OCs associated with the struggling
fledging governments of aforementioned nations. They could probably be just
about anything, and they'd hang out with Interpol and RF for the most part, at

person, she is a charismatic Reploid with a heartwarming smile. On the trail,
she is a cold blooded vicious shark with an appetite for any rumour that she
can manipulate into fact. No one is safe from her prying camera and hidden
microphones. After all... if Roll really /is/ secretly in love with Vile and
currently constructing Colonel's baby in secret along with Dr. Wily, surely

and cute. What could be worse than that? How about being the park's active
trashcan and janitor too. < Insert what made him leave it here, be it wanting
a better calling (MH/Rep), he just one day snapped and ate a tour group (Mav),
or maybe he still works there. (Civ) >. All in all his personality is much
like his size, ponderous, he's slow to make decisions, and even slower to
change them once they're made. Don't let this be seen as a lack of
intelligence though, he just likes to think things through and stick with his
decisions. Socially he's a warm hearted softy to those he likes owing to many
Big Teddy Bear references, however rouse his ire and you'll have an

Okay, my bad. Due to system troubles, I'm *three* posts behind, plus
one more due tomorrow. So it's time for a big rush of stuff, to finish off the
theme for November: Bad National Stereotypes Month!
Name: Dr. Herman Prebtzlowski
Faction: Interpol
Function: Mad But Clueless Scientist
Gender: Male

Profile: Some would say Dr. Herman is a madman. Some would say he is blessed.
It's hard to say which. While he has a good heart, he is constantly creating
things which are totally impractical, yet somehow work. Intending only the
best, Dr. Herman never the less manages to not quite get things perfectly
right when he tries. His inventions always work, but his best intentions
always come up short, usually running into unexpected coincidences that
short-circuit his best laid plans.

Notes: The actual inventor of the solar-powered flashlight, the

scientist version of Jazz, who just makes things work. Even when they

Profile: Based on a Roman centurion, Shield was supposed to be a battlefield
bodyguard - creating a number of remote-controlled independently moving
shields to protect many different people at once. But with the spread of the
Sigma Virus, Shield came to protect the wrong people. Capable of filling the
air with a multitude of shields, he additionally fights with an ion-energized
gladius at close range. Though a rather angry and hostile person in general,
Shield has a quirky attachment to his battlefield comrades - very much in the
vein that blood is thicker than water. While he may have issues with some of
them, no outsider has the right to even touch a fellow Maverick.

Notes: Very high END, lots of Barrier attacks. Will likely both fight in combat

about keeping track, I've now got an object sitting in the Character Room,
broken down by month. Oh, and a note for this one - if you keep the background
as-is, you'll likely need to clear it with Scorpio first, since he's the staff
caretaker for Phong.

Profile: Formerly the bodyguard for Ambassador Phong of China, when the
ambassador became Secretary-General of the UN, Chopstick Panda found himself
supplanted by a large number of UN guards and soldiers. Leaving Phong's side
to become a Maverick Hunter, he continues to fight evil using his weapons of
choice - chopsticks. Though a bit slow to act, Chopstick is by no means lazy,
and is capable (at least in small bursts) of surprising speed. Though
possessing significant physical power, Chopstick believes in being a
minimalist and is skilled in disabling opponents using their own force against
themselves, rather than his own.

Notes: Fights with a pair of chopsticks - and also by throwing grains of rice

smart, he's usually fairly quiet and follows orders. However, he has a bit of
a greedy tendency, and if he decides he wants something, he gets it. Anyone
attempting to remove property from his grasp will usually find themselves
having to climb tall heights to reach him while things are being thrown at
them.

second to walk a mile or an hour to walk an inch.
