Several rumors have been popularized over the net, covering multiple message
boards, especially those located in Japan. These rumors put Chet in a
suspicious light regarding his activities as a 'lawyer', quoting that he
doesn't even know the official Repliforce stance in regards to Japan, or how

particularly goofy ways.

Also mysteriously on the net, except far more wide spread, is an attack video
by none other than 'Chet Ralf' on Cinnamon of the Hunters, as well as global
statements by a 'Chet' over global regarding Cinnamon's face being 'dug out of
rubble'.
The video has been cleaned up and it's quite easy to see Chet Ralf's face. Some
people say it's a doctored video, but the source of the video is unknown.

Scene opens. It's rather well-done CGI animation.
The scene is a generic kitchen, with a good shot of the refrigerator.
Heavy footsteps echo through the room. A quick shot out the window: GOD it
looks hot out. Quick shots of skeletal boots hitting the ground, and a door
slapping. Back to the core scene, Skull Man makes his way into the frame.
Pausing beside the 'fridge, he glances slowly from one side to the
other, before pulling it open and reaching in. As he pulls out, his arm sticks
and pops off. Rolling his eyes with a groan, he reaches in with the other hand
and produces a bottle of Nestea iced tea. Slowly, the robot master glances at
his surroundings again, before he pops the cap off and downs it.
Skull Man straightens back, as snow and frost forms on his bones and
balloons out until he's just one giant snowball with arms and legs. Puffing
out a veil of mist, he picks up some ski poles, and plops a stocking cap on
his head.
"Oh.. My.. God.." The camera suddenly pans sideways, showing that Ice Man had
seen the WHOLE THING. Whirling around, Skull Man - Now Blizzard Man - jabs at
Ice Man's chest with an accusing finger.
"If you tell ANYONE about this, I will KILL YOU." Following that, Blizzard Man
storms off. Ice Man swallows, and looks helplessly at the camera.
Fade to Black. Nestea Logo.

15th Anv. DVD Release Sat Jul 09 A Little Bird

Earlier today, the 15th Anniversary DVD of "The Hunt for the Kumiho," a
supernatural Korean action movie, was released on the shelves of video stores
all over Korea and the United States. It will be released all over the world
On July 16th, next week. Originally released on July 9th, 2203, the movie
revolves around a Korean martial artist (Bak Ipseong) who must hunt down a
nefarious nine-tailed vixen spirit (Fascinating Ninetail in her debut role)
that has brought a plague upon Korea. To do this, he must chase her across the
entire length of the Korean peninsula, and with the assistance of a member of
the country's supernatural investigation team (Yun Muja,) he must face
numerous obstacles, as well as many unusual characters along the way,
including a doctor (Jeong Hwangyung) who claims to have a cure to the plague
inflicted upon the Korean populace...
Reportedly, the DVD extras are superb, judging from the reactions of
those who have bought it. There are not only trailers and storyboards
available, but also behind-the-scenes commentary from many people, most of
them who were involved in the production of the movie, including director I
Taeil. Most suspicious, however, is one of the last few commentators: a brown
kangaroo Reploid in red, orange, and black who supposedly knew the movie's
choreographer -- the late Choe Jinho, who succumbed to leukemia five years
ago. What especially makes viewers unsure about him is the fact that he was
built only two years after the original movie was released...

discover the rapidly spreading word that Pirate Man himself is issuing a

It is unclear as to what purpose the pirate themed Master is heading
but many prominent rumors claim that he is raising a small army to do battle
against, quote, unbelievers. Lesser rumors claim various absurdities ranging
from bad to worse. In the end, however, Pirate Man has refused to make any
further comment on his intentions or just what happens to those that have
answered the call, other than to assure the world that they are alive and in

Rebuilding Europe Sun Jul 10 A Little Bird

With the sudden push for reclaimation of the European continent, many
organizations and individuals have made haste to the desolate wasteland. While
many of these groups have stuck together to form larger reconstruction
organizations, some may notice that there is an undocumented effort being
performed in France.
Outside the hulking remains of the once tranquil port city of Le Havre
in Normandy, northern France, at the mouth of the Seine river, several cargo
ships have been spotted coming and going from the area. It is unclear what
these ships are transporting, but bulldozers and other demolition vehicles
have been spotted clearing out the old and making way for something new.
Those attempting to get closer have found intense security and other
armed units protecting the area. Signs have been posted along the construction
perimeter warning that hostile tresspassors will be shot.

High Command), Dr. Sarah Fairchild (and again, by extension, anyone who she
tells), Yosho Roshi and Sheena (and their respective ninja crews, depending on
whims of said directors, including the possibility of Sheena informing Neo
Arcadia high command). The methods of contacting him are subtle and strange,
much akin to the flickering neon letter.

unknown how she was brought in and doctors are saying that it is a miracle
that she survived the night. Equally unknown is where the mystery patient
vanished to tonight. Given that there are no signs of a break in, police are
baffled. When asked of the possiblity that she could have left under her own
power, Doctor Shinchiro responded that 'that is not humanly possible'. The
woman's identy is currently unknown at this time. Police are currently looking

One of the latest fads in Rio seems to be a bent on the mysterious.
Beachgoers occasionally report seeing a glowing white figure walking up and
down the shoreline at night -- the ghost of a woman, and naturally all the
urban myths about /why/ she's there are completely different and probably
foundationless. The paranoid think it's a holographic trick of some sort; the
intelligent are already setting up a profit by selling t-shirts and creating
doctored photos; and the particularly devoid of intelligence are buying those
photos insisting they're real and scouring the area with ghost-detecting
equipment. The latest happenings don't seem to have done any damage to the
area's economy, at least. Most people are treating this new situation as yet
another tourist-trap.

In Normandy, northern France, the activity at the old Le Havre site has
increased dramatically over the past few days. A makeshift port has already
been errected to accomodate the various cargo ships visiting the area, which

another large structure is on its way.

Evidently Rio isn't the only place having 'ghost' problems.
Interpol's old base 'Shambala' in the Himalayas, having been destroyed
by the Mavericks and then cleaned out by Interpol, aren't really anything
impressive anymore; they're just destroyed ruins. Still, besides the continued
searches and monitoring by Interpol, there exist your typical vultures; thugs
and scraphunters occasionally scrambling through the leftovers to see if
there's anything useful lying around. Most of these looters have recently
given up, however, and they're spreading some strange tales through the
world's criminal populace.
Namely, tales of the ghost of a weeping, wailing woman, haunting the
ruins. Most people just get glimpses; but more determined looters discover
that she seems to be keeping watch over Shambala's remains, making sure they
remain undisturbed by thieves -- and the most determined looters, who ignore
the ghost's warnings, will never be robbing anywhere else ever again.

Following the fall of the Maverick Empire in Europe, it's facilities have gone
silent...cleansed of the Virus and any remaining weapons or traps by
specialized teams, and only awaiting the order for demolition to come in.
Strangely enough, however, the sanctity of at least one facility appears to
have been violated. Rumors have begun to spread that someone or something has
been stirring in the command bunker of the fortress once used as an
administration complex for the Munich area. Technically the facility has no
owner, and anything of military value has long since been removed and
carefully stored away...so what could possibly be going on in there? It's a
total mystery. So far, nobody's had the guts to go inside...the locals aren't
superstitious, but all they'll say if queried on the matter is that they fear
"The Commandant's" wrath if they go in. Of course, that won't stop a
particularly adventurous foreigner, now would it?

Not exactly odd for it to be occurring, considering who it is about. The rumor
has it though that a figure has been seen around Europe. More than seen
actually. He has been coming up to little children... and making them laugh!
Tornado Onion has been spotted, and seems to be staying, in the Europe
area, making himself as known as possible. More so than he ever did before.
All ages have had mixed reviews of his dancing (like everything else in the
world) but all claim it was interesting at least to see.
Something odd though. Some of the parents have been talking about how
the children have asked their parents, even told them about what the onion
asked. It sounds harmless, but rumor has it that it's been about mavericks and
if any of the children knew anything about them since they had gone missing.

Two guys who look like they have seen better days are sitting in a bar. One of
them has a broken shoulder and the other has his leg in a cast. Both of them
have black eyes and random cuts and bruises. The each get their drinks and
look at eachother. The one with the broken shoulder says, "Sho.... What
happensh to you." His speach is a little slurred from the jaw injury.
The guy with the broken leg says, "Some guy with a hat and a briefcase showed
up at my door. Claimed to be the legal representative of Marino. He asked if I
had evidence to back my allegations against her. I laughed and said no. Next
thing I know I was in the hospital."
The guy with the shoulder simply nods and says, "Ah... you too then? I guess
she finally got annoyed with these allegations and sought legal help."
The guy with the broken leg would smack the other guy for saying this if he
could do so without pain. "You idiot. That guy was no lawyer. Just some merc
she hired."

Bonne Wild Goosechases! Fri Jul 22 A Little Bird

Rumor has it that the Australia Defense Forces are rather annoyed today
by what are being called, 'Bonne Evacuations'.
The infamous Bonne Family Pirates have developed a pattern over the
years of their operation. By using covert means, usually by expert hacking or
simple rerouting of traffic, clear an area before they are going to raid it,
so as to prevent as much civilian harm as possible. This tactic has become
somewhat of a calling card for the devious Pirate Family.
With the high state of Australian security, these 'Bonne Evacuations'
are quickly noticed and responded to, but have been leading to nothing. It's
unsure if the Bonnes have been scared off or are just trying to run the
Australian forces ragged, but at least four of these events have happened
already today in the four corners of Australia.
The Defense Forces are reportingly getting rather annoyed, but are
promising to remain vigilant for as long as the Bonnes want to play this game.

The construction occurring at the Le Havre ruins has been proceeding at
an intensely rapid pace. Workers, primarily drones, have been feverishly
working for twenty-four hours a day, every day, turning the makeshift port
into a substantially huge harbor with dozens of large storehouses lining the
inside. Meanwhile, the housing complex has been dismantled and is quickly
being replaced by towering apartment complexes, apparently meant to facilitate
the growing number of construction workers and security forces.
Of other note, to those paying attention to the area, is a massive
airship that arrives during the late night hours once a week, spending a brief
time before departing once more and vanishing into the clouds. Second to this
is the sudden expansion, almost overnight, of the surrounding perimeter. The
No Tresspassing signs have been joined by a reinforced electric fence with
listening posts every few hundred yards. The area is heavily patrolled by
armed guards.

Those with the proper connections may hear, shortly, of a new,
independent bunch of upstarts who are apparently trying to break into the
assassination business. Nobody expects them to last long, but-- well, it would
appear that they are good. At least better than anyone expected them to be.
They're calling themselves the 'Havermeyer Consulting Agency', with
offices in Anchorage and Seoul, and their public spiel is 'providing
innovative solutions for real-world problems' at reasonable prices. What
exactly they do, of course, they never quite say out loud... but if you need
an 'innovative solution', there are ways to get them, now without having to go
through a dangerous organization like the Yakuza.
Assuming, of course, that Havermeyer Consulting lives to see any more
success.

An upbeat tune sparks up, accentuated by Japanese singing. The screen fades in
on a pair of frightened maids in the center of a mideval fantasy town, staring
at something in the distance. The shot shifts after a moment, showing the
horizon. A shadow rises, engulfing the sun as the townspeople watch. The
screen flashes briefly, showing hordes of beasts, possessed shinto monsters,
and bloodthirsty orcs in sinister light with eyes aglow in crimson red.
"Defend the right..."
A sudden cut to a woman in leather and metal armor, standing stoicly on a ridge
overlooking a desert, hair and mantle blown in the wind. She raises her head
upwards, then the screen cuts to three-way split, between portraits of a male
and female swordsman, while three different smaller screens show the duo
cleaving through enemies with sizzling special moves.
SWORDSMAN
"Penetrated by evil..."
The scene cuts to a forest, an male archer in leather robes stands shrouded in
mystery, staring at the sky with his eyes closed. The screen cuts suddenly to
dual portraits of the male and female archer, with action sequences between
them showing the pair riddling foes with dozens of arrows and shotgun-like
specials.
ARCHER
"A benevolant picaroon..."
A young woman with fur-lined shoes, standing atop a pillar in some godforsaken
ruin. It's dark, the amber moon highlighting her outline until she leaps. The
screen cuts to a portrait of her, and a male in similar clothing, while the
screen between them shows the pair using deception and traps to destroy
monsters in droves.
THIEF
"As divine grace..."
A young man in priest's robes, walking calmly away from a serene monastery that
fades into the background. As he walks, he lowers his head, eyes closing. A
sudden cut to a portrait of himself and a female varient. The screen between
them shows the pair battling with bare hands, teleporting, and disabling
monsters with holy magics.
ACOLYTE
"Deal with a hope..."
A man, sitting on a crate and surrounded by oddities, puffing on a cigarette
with a determined look on his face. Cut! Portraits of him and a burly woman,
while the screen between them shows this particular pair fighting with brute
force, while tugging around pushcarts and scattering healing items all around.
MERCHANT
"The force of nature..."
A downward shot of a young woman clutching a staff, staring up at the sky in
wonderment as divine light shines down from somewhere behind the camera. A
sudden cutshot reveals her portrait and a young man with a cape. Their action
sequence consists of displays of powerful magic, laying waste to large numbers
of enemies in powerful pyrotechnic blasts.
MAGICIAN
Cutting from this is a high-speed journey through a forest, winding and
twisting, interspersed with ragged, hellish images of monsters in the dark,
until suddenly zooming in on the male Swordsman as he draws his sword. The
camera zooms in on his face, to his eye, and fades swiftly. A shift to green,
a closeup of hands with magical energy between them. These clasp, and the
camera darts back to show a young female Acolyte praying, surrounded with
divine light.
Cut. A huge figure rears back a massive sword, a tiny red-haired thief smirking
deftly and leaping aside, avoiding the downward blow. Now shown in better
light, the Orc King's glare follows the thief. Behind him, a female archer
leaps up, aiming with her bow. The arrow flashes, setting flight and exploding
into some dozen more.
A sudden shot of the Merchant woman winding up her fist, interspersed with
images of her pounding the living daylights out of orcs with her bare hands,
grinning.
A closeup of a gloved hand, clasping over a magical circle. This zooms out
quickly, showing the male Magician standing in the center of a larger circle.
He gathers magic for a brief second, then thrusts his hand downward in a flash
of light.
When the light fades, there is only a serene forest. Majestically, the title

Rumor has it that a rally of kids and orphans, impoverished by the war
that was going on in Neo-Tokyo some time ago has banded together in a small
slum some where in Neo-Tokyo. The word has spread far and wide between kids
and orphans, so much so, that the meetings are getting much more noticeable
due to the sheer amount of children that have showed up to the rallies.
There was one kid that was always at the rallies, the first member, wearing
torn clothing, but at the same time a crown created out of weird knick-knacks
that could be found lying around anywhere. Among the children, the kid is
mentioned only as 'The Rascal King'. Nobody knows who he truly is, but one
things for sure. Pick-pocketing and petty theft in Neo-Tokyo has sky-rocketed
after each and every rally!

Australian Cargo Transports... Thu Aug 11 A Little Bird

...are vanishing!
Or so some business companies of Australia are reporting. Equipment
too bulky or sensitive to be transported by Cargo Transporter and instead
flown in on airship or by cargo jet has turned up missing... ...as have the
airships and cargo jets.
Three have been reported missing in the last twenty-four hours.
The last sightings of each of the ships was somewhere off the coast of
Australia. They reported they were flying into heavy cloud cover, then their
signals blacked out. Nothing has so far been heard from the crewmen and women.
Not even any 'Black Boxes' have been found. Transponders onboard the ships
simply stopped dead in mid-air.
However, no wreckage has yet to been found.
This rumor has slipped out from the Australian transport companies.
Australian Prime Minister Lachlan Cooper has already promised the
companies new initiatives that will protect transports heading to and from
Australia, including providing air escorts, organizing convoys, and better
safety regulations. He was quoted as saying, "Given the lack of wreckage we
don't believe this to be mechanical failures. Foul play is the most likely
possibility, and if so we will get to the bottom of it and punish those
responsible."

...What?! Neo Arcadia has a new Naval Base?! On the Pacific?!
Yep, that's the rumor spreading from the surfer bums and townsfolk
along Baja California. A large construction site had been present for some
time on the tip of Baja California, but most people ignored it because they
thought it was some business site.
But, today, the Battleships sailed into port and the apparently empty
facility positively bustles with activity. The strange 'Pantheons' have been
seen patrolling the new Naval Base, and missile emplacements have been
installed. Further, massive radar dishes are constantly seen rotating over
both the dock and the five battleships in port.
Some of the fishermen reportedly even saw submarines out in the ocean
nearby.
There is even a long hangar that people are saying is a submarine
drydock.

Well, whatever it is, it's making the rounds on international TV. It appears to
be a Repliforce production, as evidenced by the appearance of the logo and
theme at the beginning.
First, a scan of the now-worthless treaty between Repliforce and Neo Arcadia is
shown. The part about NA agreeing not to attack any Repliforce treaty nations
is highlighted with a bright yellow background.
Next is shown Krieger Wolf, standing in front of a map of North and South
America. The wolf says nothing, instead producing a baton and tapping it
roughly where Torontreal sits on the map. A little 'explosion' icon appears,
followed by the Neo-Arcadian sigil; must be a digital display rather than a
paper map. He taps again somewhere in Central America, near the Neo Arcadia
border, and a little question mark appears, again followed by the Neo-Arcadian
sigil. He taps it a third time in American territory, near the border with
Texas. Another explosion, and the NA sigil, appear. Krieger folds the baton up
very carefully, and nods.
The next shot is of Elpizo's speech announcing renewed hostilities,
particularly the part where he says "In response to the accusations by the
Warmongering Leader, General Octavious Doppler of Repliforce....".
The 'PSA' ends with white text on a black background: "Draw your own

Havre has been progressing quite well with no known interruptions or setbacks.
The area is beginning to take on the look of an actual city, although sparsely
populated, with a magnificent port, capable of hosting both sea and air
vessels, a vast residential complex, and what appears to be a large factory
district.
Beginning in the early hours of yesterday morning, numerous transports
began delivering a massive influx of humans, reploids, and some androids to
the area. It is currently unknown just where all these immigrants are coming
from, but there is no sign that the flow will cease anytime soon.

To those paying attention to such loose knit gangs and clans
collectively as the Skinners, something strange is happening. The Skinners, a
classification given to a wide spread gang culture, rebellious humans who kill
Robots and cut apart their armor and hot-wire their weapons systems, wearing
them and making use of them like armor. Gangs tend to pop up a lot, but some
of the more vicious gangs are located in the Balkans and the ruins of Europe.
It seems, however, that the gangs are vanishing. They aren't being
wiped out or cracked down on, but territory that was occupied by one gang is
suddenly abandoned the next day.
To those who have an 'in' with the Skinners, they might have heard

Over the past few weeks, activity at the mouth of the Seine river has
gradually shifted from construction to the bustle of city life. The old city
of Le Havre has been rebuilt, to some degree, and is now the home of apparent
thousands. So far there has been little to no dialogue between the city and

reason has been politely turned away.
Construction efforts have shifted from the civil development of the

Shaky amateur video taken by someone who was on the front lines in Giga City.
Possibly a civilian trying to make a score with good footage. The date at the
bottom right of the screen indicates it's the early morning hours of the
previous night.
Even though the camera is shaking, and there's really no sound save
for static, one can see Ring Man, running and stumbling to escape, only for a
large dark form to slash past him, ripping open the back of one of his legs.
There is a moment where the Robot Master is down, and words are being
exchanged with someone higher above, but when the camera raises to see, there
is only a flash of bat-like wings, then a dark form descending on the Robot
Master.
There is visible struggling, and then sparks, then finally, the form
straightens up. Long, blonde hair is visible, and in the huge, clawed hands,
one can clearly see Ring Man's head, ripped from his shoulders and gripped
between the two hands, that hold it up so the assailant can stare at his
features, before abruptly crushing the remains of the head into so much
tinfoil.

Some people are wondering this fact as the Cease Fire begins to take
effect, as the group that landed had little to do with the battles in Giga
City itself.
However, over the last few nights in several Canadian cities, including
Torontreal itself, Reploids were assaulted by gangs of masked assailants
weilding chainsaws. Reports of this filter from GNN and local police reports.
The Reploids were horribly maimed, but left alive to tell of their assault.
The Skinner Gangs of Europe have found new turf.

Reports and rumors have been passing through the Torontreal pipelines of
numerous Skinner sightings; especially amongst the Reploid citizens of the
city. Most have not actually seen any of the gangbangers but reports of the
jarring noise of chainsaws in the night and the rumors of chainsaw injuries
amongst the Reploid population have tensions high. And just last night a
family in the suburbs claims to have seen three Skinners break into the home
of a local Reploid, Motoroil Mollusk. Only they were not seen departing.
Early this morning a jogger stumbled across a scattering of metal and human
bones in the Park District. The bones were said to add up to one and a half
human beings while exhibiting signs of exposure to severe heat. Elsewhere in
the park, supposedly, a pile of smelted metal and three chainsaws were later
located.

Rumors of a Zaibatsu presence on the streets abound, as recruiting for
a shadowy new crime syndicate takes place. The leader, known only as 'The
Serpent', is reputed to be making his name selling Zen and setting up brothels
in Sydney. The gang is also rumored to be virulently anti-robot, fitting with
Australia's new anti-Reploid environment. Bikers have begun running guns to
Sydney, presumably to arm this new gang presence, that appears particularly
strong among the Asian quarters of Sydney.
