Origin: Oh, poor Moly... Hers is a sad story.
Scene: Cold midwinter. Event: A dog has appeared out of nowhere.
Sayeth the neighbors, "Let us capture this dog and bring it to Talec's family! For they are the halfway house of the street." And it was done.
And we were like, "Um, thanks? She's very pretty. Don't any of you want a dog?"
And they were like, "Yes :D one of us will take her in a week or two"
So we paid for vet visits and shots and stuff and it was pretty good. She was housetrained (!) and very very cute (and a girl, our first girl dog).
Then it turned out she was epileptic, too.
And just like that, all the neighbors didn't want her anymore. -.-
Not that I'm bitter or anything.
No, wait. Scratch that.
I'm very bitter.
This was a bad time for us, but we gave her her epilepsy medication on schedule and then discovered it made her incontinent. And she had some kind of thing where she just wouldn't do anything on a rope, she had to be walked. If you put her on the rope, she'd whine sadly and when you let her in she'd pee on the floor.
Sweet, sweet dog, but we couldn't take care of her.

She had a rivalry with Jazz down the street.
