Underused FCs Wed Mar 02 Chest

Believe me when I say that there's nothing better than taking a
relatively underused character and breathing some new life into him or her.
You get a chance to really *make* the character and define who they are. The
following characters are begging (absolutely BEGGING) for a good, steady
player to come along and keep him or her for a few solid years.
Web Spider: There's so many wonderful routes one could go with this fabulous
character. One could play her as a Blackarachnia style opportunist.
Brilliantly devious, always able to hide her true intentions, and able to
wring what she needs out of people. Does she protect Repliforce's network out
of the goodness of her CPU? Is there something more sinister behind her
tricks? Is she treacherous? Why is she even /with/ Repliforce? Is she simply
shy and, underneath it all, a kind individual? Pure evil who works for the
Force merely as a chance to toy with her enemies? How wonderful of a
conniving, scheming, terrifying and treacherous bitch could she be? Answer
these questions!
Auto: The good, humble, and dependable friend. I don't know why this character
doesn't have a player, because he signals all that is Good <tm> about the
Maverick Hunters. But there's more there. Is he a crazy hack-scientist who
makes terrible inventions (Sorry Mac...)? Is he the sort that, without his
understated, behind-the-scenes work, the Hunters would simply crumble? Is he
modest regarding all of his hard work? Maybe he's always bragging about how
great his inventions work despite them being utter crap (Sorry again, Mac...).
You have some great choices on where to take a character like this.
Crystal Snail: An oddity like this is an excellent chance to explore a strange
faction. How exactly did the viruses affect her? Is she merely a romantic that
sees the noble Coalition's cause as valiant and just, inspiring her to
demonstrate her beliefs in her art? How literally does she think of herself as
an artist? Merely the way she fights, or does she actually have talent with
painting, drawing, photography, music, etc? Maybe she has skill with all of
them. How does she deal with other, more murderous members of her faction? Are
they merely doing what must be done in the name of righteousness, thus being
worthy of being praised with song and portrait? Have they strayed from the
true teachings of Sigma? Many directions this character can go in.

Interpol is a wide and varied organization. We've got a healthy number of
combat-type officers at this point, people who walk the streets and beat the
hell out of evil people. We've got lots of hackers, and investigators, people
who seek out crime scenes, find out who committed the fell deed - and then
bring justice down upon them.
Both of these character types are A-OK, and we're always happy to see more! But
there's one type Interpol could really use right now...
...scientists. I don't mean supergenius masterminds like Gate or Dr. Barrel
Caskett or even Sarah here. Those are fine, but what Interpol needs,
desperately, are crime lab people. The forensics scientists, the guys who take
a handful of evidence, a lollipop, and three hours, and turn it into a damning
case against a suspect who might otherwise have walked! We'd love characters
like this, so apply today!

badass troubles artist torn between the dramatic life of a soldier and
capturing the action through crystal. If not... Just think what you can do!
The Sigma Virus could have turned her into a more Revolutionary Maverick,
perhaps? More willing to fight to convert people, but never really getting her
hands 'dirty', just trapping them in glass for infection.
You could make her into a new age artist and collector, stealing art because
it's too 'good' for humans and making sculptures out of crystal for the

Hunters to try to undo the damage that the scientists had already done to

Profile: Built by an independent company in Mexico to assist in irrigation of
regions that receive little rainfall, Moisture Cactus is an expert of desert
areas. Easily capable of storing large amounts of water from either direct
contact with the liquid itself or water vapor, Moisture can easily supply a
person(or group of people) with their water needs for several days at a time.
With the formation of Atzlan however, Moisture's purpose became quite skewed
however, and he was forced to flee his homeland. Shortly afterward, he joined
the (insert faction here) in order to contribute his knowledge of one of the
planet's harshest regions. He immediately received upgrades after that,
allowing him to utilize his unique ability to create "heavy water" from his
supplies and utilize it as a weapon in various ways. As an emergency measure,
he can also launch his needle-like water-siphons outward with a large amount
of hydraulic force as well.
Primary Attack: 10,000 Needles
Type:Blade Water
Notes: Primarily uses water attacks.(hurrah!). Likely is not very durable,
seeing he has plenty of fragile systems and is full of a pressurized fluid.
Could quite possibly have burrow(JUMBO CACTUAR! And uh, ground water) Maybe
submerge of swim. Likely would have heal as well.(for his water distribution
abilities).
And yes, I wrote this without much thought, so it could definitely be better.

conventional power stations. Usually witheld and secretive, he only talks
socially when he feels it is strictly necessary and therefore has very few
friends. To those few friends he does, however, he is highly pretective. In
battle, his electricity is all he needs as a weapon against his opponents,
capable of frying them and any computer systems he is near often by just being
within close proximity.

other soldiers.

Soong spent most of his youth living in Germany and looking into the
scientific data that his father would sometimes give him on teleportation
physics. His father wound up being one of the head scientists on the team that
gave the United Nations a means to teleport during their conflict with China,
and as such spent most of his free time teaching his own son. Now an old man
who has been dramatically altered by cybernetics in order to prolong his life
and give him what he needs to get revenge against the Mavericks for ruining
Germany, Soong has a doctorate in the physics behind teleportation systems,
and is the leading genius in that area of information. Perhaps the only person
with even a glimmer of a hope for understanding how Protoman's blink system
works, Soong has spent most of his time perfecting his own blink system to
make it possible for multiple living objects to be teleported while attached
to one another.

Note: Armed with a double-bladed saber thingy(That blade staff

systems ever, he tends to approach things calmly and intelligently, knowing

Not very tactically minded, he is more used to vandalism and smash and grab
operations to well thought out plans. Whilst fighting for himself, his
cybernetic enhancements allow him to effectively weild a grusomely effective
Zweihander in combat, which he uses with all the grace and poise of a madman.

angle. A cloud of dust kicks up.

Geetz suddenly gets cybrided, making the two women jump. The cloud ends, giving
a view of Gatts' cybernetics.
VOICE: "And then suddenly, great distances seperated them."
Two metools walk by, each trailing a white paintbrush, seperating Gatts and
Yuna and Geetz with Sera. As this happens, Max Armour appears in Gatts's
section.
MAX: "Hi!"
The three non-Interpol dissapear.

bugging the other officers about how much he loves them. Yet none of them seem
to mind too badly because of his friendly demeanor. Mavis is always organized,
able to make time for anyone or anything almost instantly. He even keeps track
of all the Interpoler's birthdays, stopping by their house or cubicle to drop
off a gift. While he attempts to avoid combat, he's quite lethal with small
triangular throwing daggers if need be.

Profile: Dr. Zetlin Toshian is an old, Chinese hermit who happens to be the
father of the well known Hunters called, Simian Monk, and Rush Raccoon. His
credentials are not that well known, as he is a relatively small-time
scientist. He knows how to code androids, and build a reploid, however only on
the more simplistic level of intelligence. On the other hand, Dr. Zetlin has
been known for his unique weapon and armor systems. He has lived in the
Himalayan mountains for the better part of ten years, in seclusion. His
reasons behind this self-imposed exile are only known to him, and he is not
being very talkative about that fact. This man is not afraid to express his
opinions in the most verbal of ways, and very quick with the witty insults,
and he also not afraid to take any nearby blunt object and slap people upside
the head, that are under his tutalage.
Notes: Dr. Zetlin is Simian Monk's and Rush Raccoon's creator. If you want a
better example of people, take Pai-mei from Kill Bill, Uncle from Jackie Chan
adventures, and Splinter from TMNT, and smash all their personalities
together, and you'll get Zetlin. If you want more of a history, I have my own
tidbits of info written up for him.

Diggz is a trustworthy and reliable asset to their faction. Steady paced, sure
footed and capable of getting results, he is a strange asset to a faction that
makes their name through failing. Curiously enough, however, Diggz bears a
striking resemblance to a certain blue armored defender of justice. In battle,
he is somewhat capable of defending himself using primarily his digging and
household cleaning equipment such as drills, a vaccum and a shovel though for
his own personal defense beyond this he is equipped with a 'Diggz Cannon', a
modified buster cannon that uses gravitational forces to move heavy loads.
Primary: Diggz Cannon. (GRAVITY ENERGY.)
Basically looks like Dash / Rock with various Bonne symbols with navy
and sunburst yellow armor, with blond hair. Make by Tron because... Well...

Function: Mechanical Assistant.

Finger: Created (or employed) by Tron to serve as a gifted but complacent
assistant to her mechanical endevors, Tumble is a chirpy and upbeat individual
whose joy is in raising the spirits of others and repairing them in Tron's
absence. There's little she can't do without a wrench, etc...

Interpol as Barrel's assistance. You never know!

Finger: A former Reploid band member, <insertnamehere> was an unfortunate
casualty to the spreading epidemic of the Sigma Virus. Twisting his being
beyond recognition, he now strives for an alltogether different purpose than
letting music heal the world, now using it to destroy it. His mind was
infected almost until breaking point, which caused his senses to be incapable
of reading anything but the most intense of emotion, the brightest of colours
and loudest of noises. Personally, he views everything in shades of gray and
can almost seem like a golem to those that do not know him, however within
battle the sounds and colours of bloodshed stirr his systems once more and
donning his multi colored power armor, leering skull mask and heavily modified
guitar shaped into a cannon he calls the 'Blastmaster' he seeks to ignite his
senses and dance upon the path to destruction.

Finger: Rott... Rarely talks, aside from in tightbeam transmissions. If asked
why, he'd would reply that disease makes no sound, thus why should he? Very
slow, thoughtful and powerful like many of the plagues he houses the Maverick
is a strange new addition to the force. Formerly a bioengineer, his invention
of 'Plague Flies' to be used to infect both Reploids and Humans with curable
diseases thus making them easier to capture took a turn for the worse when
they decided to make /him/ their host and infested him. In battle he is a
large, hulking figure to whom the stench of death enternally hangs around;
constantly buzzing with grotesque flies. Aside from using these 'flies' in
battle, he also weilds a very large energy scythe that can be used to cleave
several opponents in one swipe.

blast of sheer power, which in turn causes internal damage to himself, he

defenders of San Angeles, fighting to maintain their city's reputation as the
most peaceful in the world. This changed in the Robot Master attack upon San
Angeles in 2218 with both Law Lynx and Order Ocelot gunned down by rampaging
Androids. The damage to both neural nets was expensive and irreperable, one
having lost his ability to control his limbs and the other her ability to see.
In a bizarre fusion of cybernetic experimentation, researches obtained consent
from both Reploids to carry out an experimental and dangerous fusion of their
neural nets into the same body -- permitting them to use each other's
subroutines and neurons to re-route around damaged areas. The surgery was
successful, and Law and Order now occupy the same body. It is completely
andrognyous, having the features of a 'gray' alien. Both however, have a
mastery of solid holograms, using these to project their memories of
themselves onto their new body when they are in control, for only one is
capable of being 'active' at any given time with the other pushed into a
'sleeping' state when they release consciousness. Togeather, Law and Order are
emerging as premiere police officers -- if terribly lonely ones, for their
salvation is a curse. Law and Order may share the same body and even be
neurally linked, but they are forever barred from speaking to each other due
to the restriction that only one consciousness be active at a time.

least, it's not that Blackwing is incompetent, as it is that he just has awful
luck. And yes, he's fairly incompetent. But despite all his mishaps, Blackwing
is ever persistent and still considers himself the greatest freelance
crime-fighter ever. His ego isn't exactly modest, and on the off-chance his
hunches are correct /and/ he captures the criminal, you'll hear him bragging
about it for weeks. Blackwing also has a tendency to think up of extremely
complex plans to capture the baddy, as well as drawn out explanations for why
someone turned bad. Despite his tidal wave of shortcomings, Blackwing has a
pure heart when you get past his ego, and does his best day after day to put
an end to the eeeeeeevil that plagues this world of ours. Plus, he's got a jet
shaped like a duck's head, how can you /not/ tremble in envy and fear?

As Plant Man has pointed out, there are many squadrons with only a few players,
while others are nearly full. But I have noticed there are quite a few
characters in the games that could be classed as Robot Masters that are not
part of M3. These include the "Genisis Unit" from the Wily Wars, the PC games,
and the Wonder Swan Rockman & Forte. It COULD be an option to add these
characters IF the Masters begin to run out of FCs. I'd like some feedback on
this, so either make a reply to this post, or e-mail me using address in my
oocfinger.

As a FYI, The PC Masters were the original Robot Overlords... which have
retired from active service (except for Shark Man) and reside with Constance
Wily, while doing some minor service to the community. Clash Man is not
included in this since he has been killed at the end of the original RO TP.
As for the other games, I'm pretty sure it was M3 policy that they would not be
introduced, especially the RMs from Rockman and Forte.
Excuse me, if I'm wrong, though.

Re: the 'missing' Masters, although it's likely this was answered already,
iBluegrass/Sara is correct. We have had PC Masters here, as Overlords.
Additional extremely dumb/reject-like Robot Master concepts such as the
Wonderswan Masters (didn't they have, like, Compass Man or something? Owch.)
are also restricted to Overlords, if they will be used at all.
As to other things, as I have said many times to many people: please have faith
in the mysterious and not at all arbitrary magic of M3's FC-addition policy.
(See, Interpol? We /told/ you you were getting a neat FC.)

Finger: A very loyal Shadow Hunter. Nun was created to assist the lower ranking
Yakuza members with small scale operations. She formed a ready-made leader as
well as be able to switch perfectly to become a bodyguard and personal
assistant to higher ranking bosses when necessary. Distant through design, not
intention many would mistake Nun for having no personality at all -- however
underneath her mask of manners and protocol there is a quite tender young lady
who enjoys filling her time with novels, and hot chocolate. To stop herself

agility than having to use armor, and a pair of beam fans help her do just
this effectively.

Function: Tav's main concern is asset protection. If you need goods, or people
moved quickly from one place to another then he's there to do it. The Shadow
Hunter's expert driver and handyman, whatever they can't do usually he can. A

bigger than a pushbike to get him to where he wants to go. Not the most subtle
of Shadow Hunters to be created, in battle he prefers to ram into his
opponents with whatever he is driving.

Profile: Tzade is not a nice man. Loud, in your face and nothing like a ninja
it's quite surprising that his fellows still call him a Shadow Hunter. That
is, however, until you see him in the street. There, he is a force of nature.
Expert at street style brawling he's somebody who can take on as many thugs as
you please without really breaking a sweat. Because of his loud nature, borish
attitude and need to cause a scene the other Shadow Hunters admittedly use him
as a distraction more than anything else.
