I've gotten a lot of questions about advanced_blink.
Advanced_blink is an ability that Blues and Cyber Peacock have. It allows them
to blink-anywhere, as they have always been able to do.
Like Buster, Advanced_blink is not appable.

to keep them serious. We have no need for more boards that are cluttered with
cheeky jokes and shenanigans. We already have several boards for that sort of
thing. The board is intended for people to be able to toss RP hooks out
there. Not for anonymously insulting other folks or spreading silly jokes and
the like. In otherwords, use it for the greater good, not for your own. XD

While Cyber & Real Combat have nothing to do with each other, Cyber Combat has
the same kind of rules as real combat. If you're damaged, you shouldn't be
fighting again for a day or so. If you're KOed, you shouldn't be fighting
again for the better part of a week.
Why?
Cyber Combat damages and corrupts your avatar program, and it takes a while to
repair. That's why.

Alright folks, now I like a little innuendo here and there as much as the next
guy. But it's starting to get out of hand... /way/ out of hand on the OOC
channels. Especially a few of the factional channels, and I'm sure you know
who you are. Can we tone it down a bit? This MUSH is about robots and stuff,
not boobs and sex and how you're going to rape somebody in the face. It makes
for an uncomfortable setting for some folks, who are going to be, very easily,
too intimidated to ask you to stop, because we all know how those types of
situations end up.
So, just a friendly request to tone down the innuendo. You wanna talk about sex
or be dirty, take it to NC-17. Keep it off my factional channels, and
definately keep it off my Public and Guest channels.

Hi, everyone! I'm back from the hospital and will, with difficulty, be resuming
a semi-normal life soon. This will mean more of me, and yes, I will be doing
apps!
But I will probably be somewhat slow. This is for many factors; one is that I
am being a little nitpicky about some things (don't worry, you can still app
for neat things; I may just ask for clarifications for some of them if my
small piscine brain doesn't get what you write initially), and another is that
I am seeking input from my colleagues fairly often. While I have been admin
for about two months, I've only been working one of them, so I am still the
fish. :( Literally.
So I ask for forebearance from those of you who are applying for civvies; I
will get to you in time, but it might take a while. If it does get too big of
a load to be handled in a reasonable amount of time, I will spread the work
around. The civilian box gets about three times the volume of other appboxes,
so even if I was at peak capacity, it'd still be slower. :) Please don't let
this discourage you from apping for Civilian OCs or FCs, though.
Additionally, I have a brief wish-list of things I would adore to see
applications for. These are not mandatory, they're just things that would
either be nifty or would fill various useful niches. Perhaps involving PLOTS.
-Bioroids, of pretty much any type or role that is not otherwise problematic.
-Tattoo-wear-using Yakuza (contact Sera for more!)
-Yakuza humans in general, especially tending towards more diverse criminal
types; while it isn't to the point of being Overdone, we seem to have a lot of
assassins.
-Interpol "cop" or "agent" types; they have a lot of techies, and techies need
people to fix! (This isn't quite the same as "bruiser", but there is some
overlap)
-Full-conversion cyborgs of some age. Cybernetics has existed for about as long
ICly as the jet engine's existed OOCly; a full-conversion cyborg who changed
over in the early days at 30 might very well still be at full throttle in this
day and age. If you go this route, though, I will probably want some
explanation of history details.

They make my e-mail vomit.
I've been seeing a lot of vomit lately. >_>
Just try and save the formatting as 'plain text' in whatever you're using so
that the e-mail program doesn't try to resolve special characters like curved
apostrophes and smartquotes as well as word-wrap formatting.

Guys? If you have a Player Character here, please don't log on as a
guest. If you need to just pop on to the MUSH right quick and grab like a news
file or something and you don't want to get hit with a deluge of greets as
your normal character, that's fine. But if you plan on just sitting around and
hanging out and chatting, then use your actual character, not a guest. It
makes it harder for us to actually help the new people who really need it and
it's not like we don't have ways of knowing you've got a character here
already. :D
So please? Cut it out? It's cute and cheeky and novel the first time or
so, but afterwords it just kinda complicates the lines of communication. Log
in the characters you have, leave the guests for the people who need them. :D

The Yakuza Cyborgs have had new limits added.
Check news Yakuza for this.
Yakuza cyborgs can now have 'tattoo' cybernetics to enhance their stats, like
Gatts and Geetz do. It's in the file. It's really cool. I highly reccommend
it, as I would love to see more of them in the faction!
