The city is now much more sensible now, and bears a greater resemblance to the

I didn't notice this, because I get a lot of applications. But apparently,
everyone who applies for a fire master wants the same witty quote that is
currently set on Burner Man. To the point where Fire Man asked me to change
his quote because it was the same quote.
Please come up with a different quote. That or don't change your quote. It's
hard for me to remember what quote is set on what person at any given time.

There is, as near as I can tell, no reason to do this. At all. At least put
something in the body of your message explaining -why- it is an attachment.
'Formatting' is not an acceptable answer. 'I actually do have an email client
that won't take that much text' is.

Current Game Status Fri May 06 Leo

Apps have been slow the last few weeks. Our administration carries numerous
responsibilities which are more important than M3, including but not limited
to final exams. Apps will be processed more expeditiously as time goes on.
The admin are working to the best of our ability to complete numerous complex
tasks at the moment. We have taken a voluntary pay cut to encourage ourselves
to work harder, as well as to allow for a cost-of-living raise to our facheads.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Web Site Tue May 10 Gemma

Some minor updates were done to the web site, mostly re-updating files that
needed to be updated since they were changed here, but not there.
One thing I did post today is something not on the MUSH, which is a list of
different tips and tricks people can use to get RP. I hope that the little
article is helpful, since many people have expressed difficulty finding RP,
but haven't tried all the resources available to them for it. Also, there is a
small newbie-guide to applications linked off the main application, which was
updated.

Overdone in Neo Arcadia Sat May 14 Io

Cyborgs. I've had a lot of people app for them lately. Neo Arcadia's military
is supposed to be primarily composed of e-humans. As such, following the batch
currently within my box, I will be scrutinizing haevily on apps for characters
of this type.
There are also a number who have apped having many removable cybernetic
components. I can see this being workable for people who have some very
dangerous components that could interfere with day to day activities outside
of battle, but I'd rather not have it come to the point that people can have
things installed just for battle and then get to look all pretty and normal
outside of it.
Electric weaponry is overdone as well, but given what Neo Arcadia's primary
focus is, it makes sense. I'd still like to see more ice and water types since
the Zero series' weakness loops were based on three elements: fire, ice, and
electric. Electric has plenty of representatives and fire's on the upswing.
Now, more ice would be nice.

So, you've got interception! It's cool, isn't it? I know I love it.
However, there are a few simple rules of courtesty to having Intercept and
making the game fun for all the other Inteceptors on the MUSH.
1. Do not talk on intercepted channels.

Follow these three simple rules, and all of us get an opportunity to
use these stolen frequencies, which are only supposed to be changed every
month or two.

Our application has changed.
This isn't a new announcement. It's been changed a while now, maybe a couple of
months. But for some reason, I'm still seeing apps sent in the old app format.
I have no idea why, since it's been changed both in the news files and on the
web site now.
It's not a big deal. But in the future, please send the new app format, not the

Character Web Requests Wed May 18 Gemma

I'm getting around to adding character profiles to the web site again.
The old +ocadd system worked fine for our old webmaster, but because my code
skills run a different way than his did, that system doesn't work for me.
Please look at the web site. If your character profile is outdated, or you
would like your character profile to be added, but it is not there at all, use
the Character Web Request object to add your profile to my "things to add"
database.
Though the object is primarily a database for OCs to list their names for
addition, FCs may use this, too... if they want the profile on the web site to
be updated to their current one, or if they have not yet been added to the
site. This is entirely possible, since I was working with a fairly old
database when I did the initial character list, and none of the newly added
FCs from the current TP are likely to be on the site.
Please check your profile on the web site. If you are not on the site, or, if a
profile on the site is outdated, and you would like to be added, submit your
name using the Web Request database, which is located in the Character Room off
of the OOC Lounge. If you use +ocadd, the old code, absolutely nothing will
happen, so ignore it.
This /will take some time,/ particularly since I have to rearrange the bio
areas to account for new factions, create some graphics, and etc. Please do
not be impatient while I make these changes and additions. But please submit
your name such that I will have something to work from when I get additions
ready to go. Additionally, please don't harrass me and ask when it is going to
be up. If you are considering making changes to your character, defecting, or
submitting a new profile soon, don't submit your character now. Wait until you
are ready to avoid me making changes to the site that I'm going to have to
make needlessly in another couple of weeks.
One more note: FCs will probably all be added eventually, regardless of whether
they request to be (though requesting helps me out a lot). OCs have a choice:
you don't have to be added if you do not want to.

The system recognizes "Misc", not Miscellaneous, and we get sad when we have
to go through and edit out all those letters you typed. :(
